CIVM/EHCC – Ferrari with seven cars in Coppa Paolino Teodori

Maranello, 22 June 2018 – The adrenaline will be flowing in the 57th Coppa Paolino Teodori from 22 to 24 June, the fourth round of the Italian Hill-Climb Championship and seventh of the European Hill-Climb Championship. The race organised by the Gruppo Sportivo Automobile Club Ascoli Piceno totals 240 entrants who include the leading competitors in the Italian and European series. So, we can be sure of excitement and entertainment along the 5.031 km between Colle San Marco and the village of San Giacomo, theatre as always of challenges decided by hundredths of a second.

Sunday’s race. The programme kicks off on Friday 22 June with the scrutineering in the starting zone on the plateau of Colle San Marco, from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The competitors start the two practice runs on the race course from 9:30 am on Saturday. Race-1 will set off at 9.30 am on Sunday 24 June. At the end of the second round an award ceremony at Colle San Marco will conclude the three days in the Ascoli area.

Tight fight. Six Ferraris will be involved in the tight fight among the 16 GT Group cars. The 458 Italia GT3 of AB Motorsport driven by reigning champion Lucio Peruggini is the most eagerly anticipated. After missing the Fasano race Luca Gaetani returns in the 458 Challenge EVO of Vimotorsport and will pick up his battle with Roberto Ragazzi in the 458 Challenge EVO of Superchallenge. The other Ferraris are the F430s of Luigi Perchinunno, Tommaso Colella and “Ragastas”.The E2-SH class also includes the 550 Maranello of Vincenzo Cimino for Team Pave Motorsport.
