Maranello – The Ferrari of Racing One extended its string of wins in the VLN championship, held entirely on the long track of the Nurburgring, the famous Nordschleife. Christian Kohlhaas, Stephan Köhler and Mike Jäger, who returned to the car after a race off, monopolised the SP8 class finishing 11th overall in the 58th edition of the ADAC Reinoldus-Langstreckenrennen.
Full house. The Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 tops the standings, having won every race so far and with only two to go. This has been a memorable season for Racing One, rewarding the team for all the hard work of recent years.
Other win. However, it was not only Racing One that had something to celebrate in the Reinoldus-Langstreckenrennen. The two 488 GT3 Ferrari cars of Wochenspiegel Team Monschau put in excellent overall performances, with victory in the Prestige class and fourth place overall, courtesy of car no. 22 crewed by Georg Weiss, Oliver Kainz and Jochen Krumbach. The 488 GT3 no. 11 finished sixth with Leonard Weiss, Christian Menzel and Nico Menzel. The next meeting is the 50th edition of the Barbarossapreis on 6 October.
