Two Ferraris to start in the VLN

Nürburg | 26 April 2019

After the extraordinary cancellation of the second round of the VLN due to snow, the 61st edition of the ADAC ACAS H&R Cup takes place this weekend. The race counts as the third round of the championship held entirely on the fearsome Nordschleife track. Again there will be two Ferraris at the start, one lined up by Octane 126 in the SPX class and the other by Hella Pagid – Racing One in the SP8 class.
After securing second place in the opening race, the Ferrari 488 GT3 of Octane 126 will again be crewed by Björn Grossmann, Jonathan Hirschi and Simon Trummer. In the SP8 class, the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 of Hella Pagid – Racing One with Stephan Köhler, Christian Kohlhaas and Jürgen Bleul at the wheel, will attempt to make up for the unlucky outing at the 65th edition of the ADAC Westfalenfahrt.

2018 and programme. In the 2018 edition, the 488 GT3 of Weiss and Menzel took pole, while the twin car driven by Weiss, Kainz and Krumbach, clocked the fastest lap.
As usual, the entire race programme will take place on Saturday, with qualifying from 8:30 am to 10 am and the race, lasting 4 hours, starting at 12 pm.
