Adam Carroll (Ferrari Budapest), World Champion in the Trofeo Pirelli, took stock of his first year in the European series of the Ferrari Challenge.
“I started racing in this championship during this year’s Austrian stage at Spielberg. I’ve driven other GT cars, even of a higher category, but the 488 Challenges are great fun to drive, and their 670 hp makes them the most powerful sports cars I’ve ever tried. This means that you always feel at the limit: this is a challenge and gives the driver the opportunity for endless fun! According to the British driver, “the level of competition is very high and the young Ferrari drivers, in particular, have a very promising career ahead of them. Louis Prette especially, who recently won the Coppa Shell, will certainly be very fast in any car he’s given”. Carroll concluded by emphasising that, “Ferrari always knows how to make you feel at ease. Its unparalleled hospitality always helps you feel part of a big family. This also counts in gentlemen drivers’ championships such as the Ferrari Challenge”.
