Mugello circuit prepares to host 2019 Ferrari Finali Mondiali from 24th to 27th October.
For the tenth time in its history, the picturesque Tuscan track owned by the Prancing Horse will play centre-stage to one of the most eagerly awaited weekends for fans of the Maranello-based manufacturer and motorsport.Four emotion-packed days of entertainment and competitions lie in store, as well as the celebration of two important anniversaries: Scuderia Ferrari's 90th and the 70th anniversary of Scuderia’s maiden 24 Hours of Le Mans win.The protagonists of this not-to-be-missed programme will be the Ferrari 488 Challenge crews who line up for the final events of the Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific series season, ahead of Sunday’s spectacular Final Mondiali, which will decide the world champions of Prancing Horse's single-marque competition.
In between the free practice sessions, qualifying laps and races, historic Formula 1 single-seaters will take turns on the track with the extraordinary cars of the exclusive XX Programmes, such as the FXX-K Evo that was unveiled to the public at Mugello in 2017.On Sunday, in addition to Finali Mondiali of the Ferrari Challenge, the 5,245-metre Scarperia circuit will host the classic Ferrari Show with Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1, where fans in the stands can look forward to a thrilling spectacle of the single-seaters in action. If that isn't enough, enthusiasts can also enjoy Competizioni GT cars such as the 488 GTE - the recent winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans - and the 488 GT3s, benchmark vehicles in the world of closed-wheel racing. Alongside the 24 Hours of Le Mans winners - Daniel Serra, Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado - there will also be present many official Competizioni GT drivers who successfully compete in the world's major GT championships.There will also be shows on the track and in the paddock, whereas usual activities will be held for adults and children in a special dedicated area.
