The XX Programmes, established in 2005, represent a unique kind of collaboration between Ferrari and their very own clients, who develop the cars without commitment, free from homologation and regulatory restrictions, during on-track sessions which are closely-monitored using telemetry parameters to gather as much data as possible.
The cars taking part in the XX Programmes are produced in very limited number and are purpose-built for the track. The initial project began with plans to use the Ferrari FXX, derived from the Ferrari Enzo, but as the years have passed the fleet has expanded. Four of the models involved in the project will be present on the Tuscan circuit: the FXX, 599XX, FXX K and the extraordinary FXX-K Evo.
In 2019 the XX Programme was held on tracks in Bahrain, Valencia (Spain), Sonoma and Laguna Seca (USA), Suzuka (Japan), Nürburgring (Germany), Vallelunga and Imola (Italy) and will wrap up with the finali mondiali in Mugello.
